About

Raymond Bobar (born 1978) is a graphic designer specializing in the fields of publication design, typography and lettering. He has studied photography & graphic design at the University of Art in Bucharest and typeface design (short courses) at the University of Reading, UK. At the same time, he was involved in the redesign and art directing of Republik magazine and the design of the first issue of Omagiu magazine. Starting with 2007 he was the art director of the Romanian Esquire and between november 2008–march 2010 he was the art director of Romanian edition of Men’s Health.
Bobar has also been an advisor and has designed many posters, logos and publications for the Transilvania International Film Festival, Libra Film, Next Film Festival, Romanian Film Festival at Tribeca and Estenest foundation.
Since september 2009 he is the art director of the independent magazine Decât o Revistă.
